Ayaka to sing for ‘Hanako to Anne’ theme song

On 31st March, Ayaka will singing the theme song for NHK drama, “Hanako to Anne”. In this drama, Yoshitaka Yuriko and Nakama Yukie will play as the heroines who overcomes the earthquake and war, delivers the hopes and dreams to children.

It will air on March 31, 2014 and it will end on September 27. Composer Yuki Kajiura is slated to compose the music for the series. It is based on the novel An no Yurikago Muraoka Hanako no Shogai by Eri Muraoka, the story of her grandmother Hanako Muraoka, the first to translate Anne of Green Gables into Japanese.

The theme song that Ayaka sings, “Nijiiro”, portrays the spring perfectly for this drama. She added that she’ll be happy if many people who listen to the song can hum it easily.

And another news for Ayaka, on 5th March, she will also release live DVD/bluray “Live Tour 2013 Fortune Cookie – Nani ga deru kana!?”

In this DVD you can see her footage in the national tour which she held in September last year. This DVD with 21 tracks will also show her song covers from Arai Yumi and RADWIMPS.
