Ennichisai 2014 on May 24-25

Little Tokyo Ennichisai Blok M is an annual Japanese art and culinary festival held at Blok M, South Jakarta, since 2010. This year, the two-day festival will take place on May 24 and 25. So…make sure you’ll come to this event and enjoy the festival!

This festival, organized by Blok M Estate Management and Ennichisai Blok M Team, attracts up to 200,000 visitors each year and has been one of the tourism agenda of Jakarta.  The whole area will be covered with Chochin (Japanese lampion) and have 150 booths providing Japanese foods and goods, creating a matsuri atmosphere in the area. Traditional art performances such as omikoshi, taiko and Japanese traditional dances will live up the festival. Aside from the traditional ones, visitors will also be entertained by a series of Japanese Pop Culture events and performances.

This year, Amour Mico and SAGA will perform in the festival.

As reported, Amour Mico is born and raised in Japan by Indonesian parents. MiCo debuted under Pony Canyon with her mini album “MiCopedia” on April 23, 2014. Her vocal performance has captivated various creators in the music world. MiCo has unlimited potential as an artist, with not only a fantastic singing voice, but also the ability to DJ, dance as a performer, and play piano in accompaniment to her singing. Her unique character and untypical Japanese look have captured the attention of other industries, including fashion. Her diverse talents as an artist hold enormous potential for a new business model with an eye to CD, live performance, and merchandise rollout in Japan as well as Southeast Asia.

Meanwhile, SAGA is a three member neo Asian (Japan, Korea, China) music unit with a fresh electro pop vibe. SAGA will officially make a world debut in 2014. Members of Saga are : RAMY – Vocalist (Korea), KEVIN – Vocalist (China), RIO – Producer (Japan).

Overcoming barriers of country, language, and culture, they joined force to launch music and message for the new era.In the past, SAGA has released music in Japan and the US consisting of popular anisongs such as INITIAL D and VIEWTIFUL JOE. This year, SAGA reborn as a neo Asian unit, emerging into the world! They will be appearing in ENNICHISAI!
