SKE48 Solo Concert at Super Saitama Arena [4th April 2014]

A hectic day yesterday since I just went to the Solo Concert of SKE48 (one of AKB48’s sister groups) at Super Saitama Arena. There were so many trivia stuffs that I may be able to share with the readers about the special event from the open gate. Of course, watching concert in Japan will have so many differences in rules compared in Indonesia.

During the Open Gate time, most of the fans were queuing nicely to enter the venue. Below is SKE48’s concert venue picture :

VENUE SKE48

Super Saitama Arena is used numerous times for 48 Family Group solo concerts, so if you happen to go back and forth to Japan to watch these concerts, you may be used to with the surroundings. The concert was started at 18:00 Japan Time. During the queue, I can see the whole crowd and many enthusiastic fans who really love this idol group. Below are the crowd atmosphere taken from my camera :

When I got inside the venue, the design was overwhelmed me. It was very beautiful, unique, and awesome…. I’m speechless. This is the condition before the venue was packed with the fans crowd.

As usual, before the concert started, I heard the announcement from one of SKE48 members who told the fans about the audience rules and the sign that the concert will start soon. Oh, the rules include no photos, so I’m so grateful for the 48 Family staffs who let me taking pictures and made this review about the concert!

The concert was started by an Overture. Overture is an intro before the members enter the stage. Usually during this overture, fans will do a chant mix (a particular yell for the idol group) while swing their light stick. This was the crowded overture atmosphere inside the venue :

Light stick’s colors which the fans used will be changed according to each team performance. For example this is the color for Team S light stick color :

In this concert, the special event I noticed was the flag handover from Team S , Team KII and Team E ‘s former captain to the new captain. In this concert, I can also watch Miyazawa Sae debut although she just has a double team to perform with her, SNH48 and SKE48.
