JAPAN NIGHT: Music event at Kokuritsu Kyogijo on May 28 & 29!

Japan’s leading artists, L’Arc-en-Ciel, Perfume, UKASUKA-G (Kazutoshi Sakurai ＆GAKU-MC), and SEKAI NO OWARI will perform! This will be the last show at Kokuritsu Kyogijo, which will be undergoing renovations for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Don’t miss this event!

Kokuritsu Kyogijo first opened its doors for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. The venue, which has hosted so many legendary sports and entertainment events, will be closing its doors on May 31, 2014. , which will be held on May 28 and 29 (the final week of Kokuritsu Kyogijo), has confirmed ticket sales aimed at overseas attendees.

Japan’s top artists assemble at Kokuritsu Kyogijo are IKIMONOGAKARI, UKASUKA-G, (Kazutoshi Sakurai & GAKU-MC), Kaori Kishitani, Gospellers, Naoto Inti Raymi, Funky Kato, Yuzu, and others will play on May 28, a day titled “Yell for JAPAN”. The “Yell for Japan” special band, led by Seiji Kameda, will also play on this day. The band will be comprised of Tom Tamada (drums), Seiji Kameda (bass), Hirokazu Ogura (guitar), Susumu Nishikawa (guitar), Makoto Minagawa (keyboard), Yuta Saito (keyboard), and Chieko Kinpira (strings). More Japan’s top artists are expected to join the lineup.

SEKAI NO OWARI, Perfume, MAN WITH A MISSION, and L’Arc-en-Ciel will perform on May 29, a day titled, “Japan To The World”. Four artists that are popular all around the world will take the stage on this day and bring worldwide attention no Kokuritsu Kyogijo.
