Indonesia Toy Game Comic Convention 22-23 November 2014

Indonesia Toy, Game & Comic Convention (ITGCC) brings the best pop culture experience from both East and West in celebration of the latest content from comics, anime, toys, collectibles, games, TV, film and entertainment to dedicated fans across Indonesia. ITGCC is a spin off event of Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention (STGCC) and is part of the Reed POP events which includes New York Comic Con, Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, PAX, OZ Comic Con, PAX Australia, Star Wars Celebration and UFC Fan Expo.

A lot of exhibitors and circles gathered at JI Expo Kemayoran Hall C. Not only Indonesian exhibitors, many of them come from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, America, etc. We also could get cute merchandise offered in several booths for free! Just like their page on Facebook or fill up the guest book. There were also gachapon area let you play and test your luck! Check below photos to feel the atmosphere at ITGCC.

Beside exhibition hall, there was also a small stage for meet and greet & signing session with ITGCC guest stars, included the cosplayer guest stars. Meet Vampy Bit Me or CB. Cebulski, scouting team from Marvel here! The guest were very excited that they could meet up with Indonesian fans.

Do you like Otome Game? Do you like Butler Cafe? Then you should come to Platina Parlour Cafe, or they called themselves “Purappa” in Japanese Pronunciation. The first original butler cafe based on Otome Game. Everyone could enter this cafe, but mostly are girls. They come like milady as a player, inside the cafe they will get served by the chosen butler and should play the game. Just like the usual Otome Game in PSP or NDS. Unfortunately no camera allowed to take picture inside, but here’s the outside scenery.

A lot of discounts are available from kind animators and also the famous brand like LEGO or Hot Wheels. Many action figures from Marvels and Square Enix are available to grab! Collectors Edition seemed the most catchy things, since many game collectors surround the large booths to purchase or just take a snapshot.

On main stage, there were several activities such as talk show with animator team, cosplay exhibition, LEGO contest for kids, and also the one that we’ve been waiting for, DJ night! Three DJs will perform here on main stage, DJ Baker, DJ Hige, and DJ Yuppe closed the ITGCC event every night these two days. Please refer to DJ night report article for details.
