“OBAKE DECADE” -10years Anniversary OBAKE Band

Formed on December 18^th, 2004 as a covering band for L’Arc~en~Ciel, OBAKE started their journey. They’d been performing from one musical event to another, mostly in band contests held by local events. Being rejected and underestimated had become their favourite meals back then. After all becoming a strong and solid mold is their goal.

In early 2007, OBAKE which in Japanese means “Ghost”, chose the the Japanese Community in Jakarta as their next “haunting spot”, covering songs from L’Arc~en~Ciel with their own style and colours. Along the year, they produced their own music which is fusion of Alternative rock and elements of Japanese Rock. Now, they have become stronger and stronger each day and won’t stop here just yet.

OBAKE now is topping the Japanese community bands in Indonesia and to commemorate their 10th anniversary, they will hold a special anniversary live on Saturday, 2oth December 2014 at  JK7 Bar&Club (ex-Basement Café). The gate will be opened before 16:00 WIB.

If you want to have reminisce your nostalgic youth, don’t worry, some Japanese band community will also perform. You can enjoy the performance from XShibuya, Blodwen, and TokyoLite.

The ticket price system will be “you decide”, so the visitor will decide their ticket price as they want. Every visitor will also get special merchandise  Kizaru-Obake 10th Anniversary Rubberband. 50 first visitors will also get CD single from OBAKE.
