Chara Expo 2015 in Singapore

Are you a big fans of Japanese comics and cartoons? Do you live near Singapore? If both answer are yes, you must be don’t wanna miss this one event! CharaExpo is an event that will be held for the first time in June 2015. Japanese content (anime, manga, games, card games, cosplay) is loved all throughout the world, and this event aims to be the place where fans can meet the producers of these contents.

Please look forward to the myriad of Japanese contents that we have in store for you. Besides the exhibition booth and merchandise booth, CharaExpo will also be inviting Doujin circles, who rarely participate in overseas events, to participate in this event. CharaExpo will also have a “Entertainment Stage”, where fans will have opportunities to communicate with the guests.

CharaExpo is looking forward to invite animation/game character designers, directors, voice actors, cosplayers and manga artists as guest to share their thoughts and experiences. Major Japanese anime, manga and game companies will also be participating in the event to showcase and offer event-exclusive exhibits and merchandises at the event.

CharaExpo 2015 aims to shine the spotlight on the people and team behind the scenes of these Japanese-related contents. The event will feature prominent producers, manga artists, illustrators, cosplayers and more from Japanese-related contents. Fans can look forward to meeting these special guests and learn more about their passion and work.

Ticketing is already open.  Early bird special ticket is only $6 worth and could be found at several local hobby store. Online ticketing available at Peatix System. Just one click and you can get the pass for this amazing event. For those who doesn’t have time to buy online or no time to go to hobby store, don’t worry! There will be on the spot ticket only at $8 during the event on June 20 & 21, 2015.

COS☆STAGE AT CHARAEXPO 2015

Show  best cosplay at CharaExpo 2015 Cos☆Stage and stand a chance to win an invitation to the Cosplay Collection Night at Tokyo Game Show 2015 with sponsored airfare and lodging!

Step 1
Submit 3  best cosplay photographs portraying different characters to cosplay@chara-expo.com. Refer to the RULES AND REGULATIONS section below for more details.

Step 2
The Top 10 cosplayers will be selected by the CharaExpo Cos☆Stage panel and be invited to the final round of Cos☆Stage held during CharaExpo 2015.

Step 3
The Top 10 cosplayers will participate in the final round of Cos☆Stage at CharaExpo 2015 on 20th June 2015 with costume of a game character. Finalist is will be given 1 to 2 minutes each for a short performance on the stage.

1st place:
Invitation to Tokyo Game Show 2015 Cosplay Collection Night (Airfare and lodging included)

2nd place:
S$200 cash + prizes

3rd place:
S$100 cash + prizes

 

LOVE LIVE! AND CHARAEXPO 2015 BUSES RUNNING IN SINGAPORE

5 Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) buses will be decorated with Love Live! School idol festival, CharaExpo 2015 and Cardfight!! Vanguard advertisements from now till July 2015. Bus numbers 167, 171, 61, 188 and 966 will feature these ads which are promoting the Love Live! School idol festival smartphone application game, upcoming Japanese anime, manga and games event CharaExpo 2015 and the TV animation Cardfight!! Vanguard G.

The Love Live! School idol festival is a rhythm game based on the Love Live! School Idol Project franchise that features a live ranking scoreboard as well as an immersive story mode. The smartphone application is available on iTunes Store and Google Play for free.

The Love Live! School Idol Project is a Japanese animation series that follows the lives of a group of fictional school girls who form a pop idol group in order to save their school from shutting down.
