[TGS2015] Bandai Namco – Autumn Char Festival Gundam Apps Latest News

We have our list about stage schedule on every single game developer on the previous review. This time, Kojacon report was attending Bandai Namco Special Stage on the first day. They introduce an iOS and Android games which already well known as “Gundam apps” as following: SD Gundam Generation Frontier, SD Gundam Strikers, and Gundam Conquest gameplay. Featuring Ryouran Hyakka (MC), seiyuu Masaya Onosaka and Nobuyuki Hiyama, also Bandai Namco producers Yasunori Kawashima (SD Gundam Generation Frontier, Gundam Conquest) and Keita Iizuka (SD Gundam Strikers).

Gundam, also referred to as the Gundam Series is a science fiction media franchise created by Sunrise that feature giant robots (or “mecha”) called “mobile suits”, with titular mobile suits that carry the name “Gundam.” The franchise started on April 7, 1979, as an anime TV series called Mobile Suit Gundam (Kidou Senshi Gundam), which was revolutionary in that it defined the real robot genre of anime by featuring giant robots in a militaristic war setting. The popularity of the first TV series and the merchandising that followed spawned a franchise that has come to include works released in numerous media. Titles have appeared in the form of multiple television series and OVAs, movies, manga, novels, and video games. Academics in Japan have also viewed the series as inspiration, with the International Gundam Society being the first academic institution based on an animated TV series.

What else is better than challenge your quest together? 3) Miscellaneous additional gimmick, such as “all range attack”, “periodical strengthen mode”, “barrier effect”, etc. Please look forward to another updates! Then, Hiyama-san tried to play the app by joining event quest ~sabakareshi mono~. With help from Iizuka producer, he could clear the mission impressively!

Second introduction is for SD Gundam Generation Frontier. Basically this app’s genre is simulation battle game, with the same flow like previous “G-Generation” series. The contents is as simple as collecting those gundam and it’s pilot, then go to the battlefield. New information about this app is about releasing latest version (ver 3.0.0) around this winter. What is the good thing about that version? Let’s check following 3 points! 1) Group battle, up to 3 battleships and enlarge map option. 2) Realtime multiplayer, you can play online with another player and get to battle together in the same time. 3) ACE! What the meaning by this “ACE”? Just upgrade your attack power, defense force, and max ability to the limit. You’ll be able customize your favorite gundam and or pilot to strengthen their stats before battle. Lastly, we’re having a presentation for Gundam Conquest. This app actually based on Sega game “”Kingdom Conquest” system in “Mobile Suit Gundam” world simulation. There’s “Travian Type” real time within this game, a system that even if the player not logged in but the time in the game world still moving. In this game also all player could move together in “simulation part” and could attack in the same time in “attck part” up to four players. By the end of July, Gundam F91 already appeared for your battle, please enjoy! For future development, there will be game tournament include all match in the game.
