Collaboration Cafe : Hakuouki Otogizoushi X Sweet Paradise

Hakuouki is a video game series by Idea Factory, first designed for the PlayStation 2, Hakuouki ~Shinsengumi Kitan~ and then later ported to PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS. It has been adapted into two 12/10-episode anime series animated by Studio Deen; the first began airing in Japan on the TV Kanagawa and UHF stations on April 4, 2010. The second season began airing on October 10, 2010 and ended on December 12, 2010. The series has also been adapted as two different manga series. A third series based on the prequel, Hakuouki Reimeiroku aired in summer of 2012.

Since then, it has expanded to various media, including drama CD, TV anime, OVA, stage play, musical, pachinko, etc and also various title such as Hakuouki Zuisouroku, Hakuouki Yuugiroku, Hakuouki Bakumatsu Musouroku, Hakuouki Yuugiroku Ni, and Hakuouki Sweet School Life. A new spin off TV anime series based on previous series had been released under name “Hakuouki Otogizoushi” (which official title in hiragana written as “Hakuouki Otogi Soushi” or in short, Hakuouki-Otogi). It will premiere on Tokyo MX, Mie TV and Sun TV in this month, April of 2016, and will be also streamed on YouTube, Nico Nico Douga and Bilibili simultaneously. All of the original voice cast will reprise their roles in the Chibi Chara-featured series with the theme: “A normal everyday that might have existed.”

Next, we’re continuing to the mentioned cafe. Sweet Paradise located in Yokohama. It’s an all you can eat cafe only for 1530 yen for adult, 860 for children, and free for infant. More than 30 kinds of sweets including seasonal cakes to indulge in delicious sweet paradise. A wide range of sweets from classic shortcakes, jellies, to Japanese sweets. There’s a lot of seasonal cakes too! Time limit for buffet vary according to shops, usually from 70-90 minutes per entry. Buffet includes light meals like pastas, salads, and soups. A bell rings as new items are added, there’s also self serving drink bar there. Actually, this cafe has a lot of branch spread all over Japan. But for collaborating cafe with Hakuouki only available on Sweet Paradise Yokohama and Sweet Paradise Shijou Kawaramachi.

Just like another collaboration cafe, Hakuouki Otogizoushi X Sweet Paradise offers us a lot of cute Hakuouki experiences by having a meal or just stop by to drink here. They also prepare original novelty and present, which is very limited only available only at this cafe. For Sweet Paradise Yokohama Vivre, this collaboration cafe will be held on April 11 until May 8, and continue to Sweet Paradise Shijou Kawaramachi on May 10 until the beginning of July.
