アニクラ(Anikura/AniClu) has been popular these days in many Japanese events being held all around the world. It stands for Anime Song or Anime Club because the DJs play songs from anime theme songs or other J-pop music, such as vocaloid, tokusatsu, game, etc. More new composers were born from the early 2010, thus AniClu has set up to be a new genre and trend for music and anime lover.
Re:Animation is one of the biggest AniClu organizer in Japan. Their concept is to hold an outdoor AniClu event in big cities in Japan and more than 3000 visitors have come in every event. What makes this event unique is the implementation of Crowd Funding system to raise the event funds. The visitors are free to come and to enjoy the event while Re:Animation supporters who contribute the funds will get a reward from Re:Animation.
Starting his career as a producer of a song using VOCALOID in 2010, RedShift has received big attention from vocaloid and J-Pop fans in Indonesia. For instance, “Sebuah Kisah Klasik” by Sheila on 7 which they re-arranged and were played for more than 166,000 times. Not only Vocaloid, RedShift now also try to spread their wings to Utaite and UTAU.
