After the long wait, Japanese visual kei band Kiryu are back with an cool dark look and a dazzling video for the track “Kyouka Suigetsu” from their new album!
己龍 (Kiryu) is a Japanese visual kei band formed on September 17, 2007. As a fun side-project Kiryu has an “alter-ego” band by the name of My Dragon, which is the English translation of “Kiryu”.
Recently on April 30th, Kiryu released their 4th full album titled Kyoka Suigetsu in two types. Limited Edition (3,780yen) will include CD (12 songs)+DVD (including “暁歌水月(Kyoka Suigetsu)” PV). This edition includes two trading cards randomly selected from 10 kinds and an application card (valid only in Japan). For Regular Edition (3,240yen), it will include CD (14 songs) only.
Along with the album release, Kiryu also announced 37 stops throughout Japan and also 7 additional shows around East Asia, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hongkong, Taiwan, and Korea. The tour throughout Japan had its kickoff at Akasaka BLITZ at 3rd May 2014 and will end up at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL 7th September 2014.
