[EVENT & UPCOMING] Q-Transformers : Kaettekita Convoy no Nazo

Upcoming the latest series of Japanese transformers “Q-Transformers: Kaettekita Convoi no Nazo” or in America known as “Transformers: Mistery of Convoy” had been revealed! Last Monday, Toei and Hasbro held the Seiyuu Event to welcome this new series. For the toy itself, release date right after Xmas (December 26th 2014) and for the anime series, it will be airing from next Winter Season January 25th 2015. The series will tie-in with the mobile game of the same name.”Mystery Of Convoy” was originally a 1986 Famicom game which was very difficult to beat. The game will return as a mobile game with the characters replaced by the figures of the Q-Transformers series.A promo containing the Opening Credits of the new series has made its way online.

Transformers Animated is a Japanese/American animated television series based on the Transformers toy line. It is produced by Cartoon Network Studios and animated by The Answer Studio, MOOK DLE., and Studio 4°C. The series debuted on Cartoon Network on December 26, 2007 and in Japan, April 3, 2010, on both TV Aichi and TV Tokyo. The new app promotes Q Transformers, this fall’s line of toys that transform from super-deformed vehicles into robots. The new toy line marks the 35th anniversary of the Choro-Q toy car line and 30th anniversary of The Transformers toy robot line. In the new game, players can jump and transform to clear the field area of each stage before facing familiar enemies in the boss area.


Takara Tomy has posted images and info from a Press Event for the Q-Transformers toyline. This event not only mentions the upcoming promotion but also highlights upcoming figures for the line. It is clear that the company is pushing the line beyond AOE and towards Generations figures.The Official Q-Transformers Website is also updated with new content. A  stage event at the Transformers Expo, Pacifico Yokohama will unveil more details about the anime version. The guests will include actress Natsuki Katou, Famicom entertainer Fujita, anime director Koutarou Ishidate, and seiyuu Ryouhei Kimura. Meanwhile, three shuujinkou for this anime series already recorded a teaser and had published by Yomiuri Shinbun last November. They said about The Android version of the game app is now available for free, and the iOS version will be available soon. Oldcodex will sing “Physical” for Opening Theme.
